Birding Site Guide
Valparaiso is 2 hours from Santiago by regular bus. There are many places to stay in Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Many common seabird species can be seen along the coast at both cities. The river in Viña also had some good water birds. Local buses connect Valparaiso with Viña del Mar. I saw 26 species.
