One of the most popular parks in Kenya, with plentiful game easy to spot, and a good chance of seeing Black Rhino all with the stunning backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background just over the border in Tanzania. Namanga gate on the border in the nw is the main entry point. Camping is an option for US$8 each, but is very basic. Then there are the 3 lodge options of Amboseli Lodge, Amboseli Serena Lodge and Ol Tukai Lodge. There is also Tortilis Camp on the s edge which has luxury permanent tents.
